Acid maps can be played as ordinary water, or with the acid turned down. Brackish water does no damage. Weak acid does a tenth of the map's water damage, rounded down to a whole number.

Acid maps can be played as ordinary water, or with the acid turned down.
Brackish water does no damage. Weak acid does a tenth of the map's water damage, rounded down to a whole number. Tidal strength is left as the map set it. Cavedog's acid maps already have tides as strong as ordinary water maps, or stronger. A third-party map whose acid is stronger stays stronger than those, at a tenth of its own damage.
Brackish Not Acid and Weak Acid, by MAC (macraig). This version rounds that tenth down, because water damage is stored as a whole number.
